Clinical history

A 75-year-old male presented with acute left-sided paralysis with an NIHSS score of 10, last seen well approximately 1.5 hours prior to arrival. Imaging confirmed acute occlusion of the right middle cerebral artery (MCA) inferior division at the M2 segment. Intravenous thrombolysis (IV tPA) was administered promptly within the treatment window.

Complete recovery

The patient achieved complete neurological recovery by the following day and was discharged home after a 3-day hospital stay.
